Lot contain: (A) Kriegsmarine dagger with with an unmarked nickel plated blade, with very light scratches and light staining/ freckling throughout. The zinc fittings retain 75-80% of their gilt finish, and the white trylon grip is wrapped with a double twist brass wire. There is a one inch crack in the upper portion of the grip. A late war "Cello" portepee is attached with light wear. The steel scabbard retains less that 10% of its original gilding, with freckling throughout. CONDITION: Overall very good. (B) Heer dagger with a unmarked steel blade with visible cross-graining, moderate runner and scattered marks, and light freckling over 15-20% of the blade's surface. Typical Eickhorn fittings retain 95+ of their burnished nickel finish, and appear undamaged. Brown trylon grip is excellent with very light damage. Portepee knot is original to the dagger, and exhibits light wear. Steel scabbard has a patinaed high silver finish with light to moderate wear and blemishes. Deluxe hanger is attached with light to moderate wear. CONDITION: Overall very good. WEZ
