Built Circa 1955. A Grade I 20 bore sporting game gun with 28" blued barrels. Barrels are fitted with ejectors, narrow, ventilated raised rib with round steel front bead sight. Top barrel stamped "PATENTS No 2203.378-2233.861", "MADE IN BELGIUM", "BROWNING ARMS COMPNAY _ST. LOUIS. MISSOURI", SPECIAL STEEL - 20GA. - SHELLS 2 3/4"". Barrels are marked "**" and "**-". Chokes currently measure Improved Cylinder and Improved Modified. Blacked boxlock action with standard Browning engraving is non-auto safe and built with a gold washed single selective inertia trigger. Blacked top lever is also engraved and is checkered on the right side of its thumbpiece. Safe slide with serrated pyramid-styled slide. Safe is marked by an engraved black "S". Bottom of action is engraved and reads "BROWNING". The French blonde-colored stock with round knob semi-pistol grip has 2-panel checkering. Buttstock is finished by a black plastic "BROWNING" plate. Trigger is protected by a blacked trigger guard with light floral engraving on bow and guard extends to a 3/4 length bottom strap. Forend with similar 2-panel checkered grip and traditional latch/slide release. CONDITION: Very Good. Barrels with 90% original blue. Barrels with some freckling at muzzle and on right side of top barrel near breech. Action and mechanics are sound. Back side of trigger guard with a small bit of spotting. Stock and forend are very good with light handling marks. CP
