German DWM "1916" dated LP.08 Artillery Luger semi-automatic pistol with holster. "1916" dated chamber. "DWM" marked toggle. Imperial proofs on the right side of the chamber. No import/export marks found. Matching serials on all the visible numbered parts. Blade front sight with rear tangent adjustable to 800 meters. Factory blued finish. Straw finish is original as well. Grips are not numbered, and look to have been lightly sanded at some point. Wood bottom magazine is numbered and matching to the gun. Also included is a brown leather "1915" dated holster. No takedown tool or rod with the holster. CONDITION: Metal retains 90% of its original finish with general wear and scratches. Sharp fire and straw blue as well. Grips have some wear. Left panel is chipped on the upper right corner, in addition to having a 1/2" crack on the inside bottom. Bore is clean overall with crisp rifling. Mechanically fine. Magazine has light wear and the wood base is cracked. Holster has light wear. Takedown tool flap is ripped, otherwise stitching is tight. JWA
