German Walther "ac/41" Code P.38 semi automatic pistol with holster. Made 1941 at the Walther factory. "(eagle)/359" Waffenamts on the frame, barrel, slide, hammer ,slide release and magazine. No import mark found. Matching serials on the frame, slide, barrel and barrel block. Standard blade front sight and u-notch rear. Factory blued finish on the frame. Barrel and slide were touched up at some point. Original brown plastic grips. Includes 2 original magazines, one being matching to the gun, the other is a later war "jvd" marked magazine, with an "(eagle)/WaA06" Waffenamt on the left side. The right side is marked "P.38/U". Also included is a "gxy 1941" (Klinge,Gebr.Lederwaren-Fabrik) code brown hard shell leather holster. There is an "(eagle/swastika)/WaA306" Waffenamt on the back in addition to "P38". There are remnants of what looks to be a previous owners name on the inside of the flap. CONDITION: Metal retains 75% of its finishes, with most areas starting to form a brown patina. Grips are sharp, with light wear and no visible cracks. Bore is lightly frosted with sharp rifling. Mechanically fine. Numbered magazine is poor with wear and areas of pitting on the left side. Other magazine has light wear. Holster has light wear. Tight stitching with no signs of tears. JWA
