German Spreewerke "cyq" Code P.38 semi automatic pistol with holster. Made circa 1943 at the Spreewerke facility. "(eagle)/88" Waffenamts throughout. No import mark found. Matching serials on the frame, slide, barrel, and barrel block. Blade front sight with standard U-notch rear. Factory blued finish. Original brown plastic grips. Includes 2 "jvd" marked blued steel magazines. One has an "(eagle)/WaA706" Waffenamt on the spine. Also included is a "cxb" Code (Moll Lederwarenfabrik Goch) marked pig skin flap holster. Faint "P38" marked on the back. Inside flap is marked "BALENGER/22621", possibly a previous owners name. CONDITION: Metal retains 90% of its original finish with some wear. Grips are very good overall with light wear. Bore is clean with very good rifling. Mechanically fine. Magazines have light wear and scratches. Holster is near excellent with some light wear on the magazine pouch. Stitching is tight. JWA
