German Spreewerke "cyq" P.38 semi automatic pistol with holster. Made circa 1944 at the Spreewerke facility. "(eagle)/88" Waffenamts throughout. No import mark found. Matching serials on the frame, slide, barrel, and barrel block. Standard blade front sight and u-notch rear. Factory blued finish on the metal components. Original brown Bakelite grips. Includes one original blued steel magazine with a faint Waffenamt on the bottom. Also included is a "kkd1944" Code (Lederwarenfabrik Wihl. Stern K.-G) marked brown leather flap holster. Faint "P38" marked on the back. CONDITION: Metal retains 75% of its original finish with general wear. Some gray/brown patina forming on the front strap. Grips are excellent. Bore has some surface rust. strong rifling retained. Mechanically fine. Magazine has light wear. Holster is very good overall with some wear to the bottom of the magazine pouch. Tight stitching. JWA
