Standard configuration P.08 semi-automatic pistol manufactured by DWM during the Great War. Receiver is stamped "1915" over the chamber, with DWM arsenal proofs on the right. Toggle bears the DWM monogram. Imperial German eagle is present on the receiver, breechblock, and barrel. All numbers are matching, with the exception of the magazine, which is unmarked. CONDITION: Metal components retain the vast majority of their period arsenal reapplied blue finish, exhibiting a few scattered areas of wear that show through to gray and brown patinas overall as well as a few small spots of oxidation. Strawed components retain fair amounts of their finish, exhibiting wear and some age related discoloration all around. Bore is bright, exhibiting well defined lands and grooves throughout. Grips show some smoothing as well as a few minor impressions. A very nice World War I manufactured P.08 Luger. MLW
