German Pre War Mauser "G" date P.08 Luger semi automatic pistol. Made 1935 at the Mauser factory. "G" marked chamber, with "S/42" marked on the toggle. "B90" and "S92" military proofs on the right side of the chamber in addition to the traditional "(eagle)" proof. No import mark found. Matching serials on the visible numbered parts. Blade front sight with standard v-notch rear. Factory blued and straw blued finishes. Checkered wood grips. Left grip panel is not numbered. Right grip panel is numbered "48", in large font on the inside. Includes a period unnumbered magazine with an aluminum bottom base and a blued body. CONDITION: Metal retains 80% of its original finish with general wear. Straw bluing has light wear, approximately 85% overall. Grips have light wear. Left grip panel has a chip out of the bottom left edge. Bore is lightly frosted, but retains sharp rifling. Magazine has light finish wear, and some scratches on the base. JWA
