Standard configuration P.08 Luger manufactured at the Royal Arsenal Erfurt during the Great War. Receiver is stamped "1918" over the chamber, with arsenal inspector's proofs followed by a Imperial German Reichsadler on the right side. Imperial Reichsadler is also present on the right side of the barrel and the left side of the breechblock. All numbers are matching, with the exception of the right grip panel, which is mismatched. This example is accompanied by 1 matching wood bottom magazine. CONDITION: Metal components retain the majority of their arsenal reapplied blue finish, exhibiting some concentrated areas of wear and thinning that shows through to brown patina. Bore is bright, showing oxidation and retaining fair rifling throughout. Grips show smoothing, a few minor impressions, as well as a few minor nicks to the diamonds. MLW
