Colt Ace semi-automatic pistol. Made first year of production, 1931. Standard 2-line company address and patent dates on the left side of the slide, in front of a rampant Colt pony. "COLT ACE (in diamond) .22 LONG/RIFLE" marked on the right side of the slide. "VP" proof on the left side of the trigger guard. Half-moon front sight with adjustable U-notch rear. Factory blued finish on the metal components. Checkered wood grips. Original 2-tone blued steel magazine marked "COLT/ACE (in diamond)/.22 L.R." on the bottom. CONDITION: Metal retains 90% of its original finish with light wear and handling marks. Grips are excellent. Bore is clean with crisp rifling. Mechanically fine. Magazine has some light finish wear.
