Ruger No. 1 Tropical Model internal hammer falling block rifle manufactured by Sturm Ruger Company in 1973 and chambered in .45-70 Government. The barrel is fitted with a barrel banded front sight with spearpoint ramp and brass bead, barrel band swivel stud, and spearpoint quarter rib with attached Ruger style scope rings. The rear dove tail folding sight seems to have been removed and replaced backwards. Checkered forend and pistol grip with red Ruger recoil pad and metal Ruger cap on pistol grip. CONDITION: Excellent plus overall condition with nearly all original bluing remaining, lever lightly turning purple. Light scratches and handling marks on stock, bright bore and good mechanics. GFP
