Winchester Model 1894 saddle ring carbine. Made 1925. Standard markings on the barrel and tang. Winchester proofs on the barrel and receiver. Round, steel barrel with full length magazine tube. Marble blade front sight and u-notch ladder adjustable to 2,000 yards. Typical saddle ring and stud. Metal components were lightly reblued at some point. Wood was lightly sanded and refinished at some point. Smooth metal butt plate. CONDITION: Metal retains 80% of its original finish with light wear and some brown patina forming. Wood is excellent. No visible cracks in the forearm. Bore is clean overall with strong riffling. Mechanically fine. JWA
