3rd Model manufactured circa 1884. 20" blued round barrel chambered for the classic .44-40 cartridge with full length magazine tube. Blade front sight and ladder rear sight missing elevator. Walnut 2-piece stocks with saddle ring, 2 barrel bands, and trap carbine butt plate. CONDITION: Very good. Bluing has turned to a dark patina throughout with metal components showing some usage marks and spots of older oxidation. Stocks smooth with cleaned appearance. Poor oxidized bore with muzzle counter bored. Good mechanics. BAS
