Made 1893. 2 line company address on the top of the barrel. Patent dates and serial number on the bottom tang. Octagonal steel barrel with blade front sight and buckhorn style v-notch rear. 4 extra holes drilled in the barrel, in front, and behind the rear sight. Factory case colored frame and lever, with the barrel being factory blued. Wood stock and forearm have their factory oiled finish. Crescent metal butt plate. CONDITION: Metal retinas 70% of its original finish with some brown patina forming on the barrel. Case coloring on the frame is worn. Stock has handling marks and scratches. Forearm is solid with no visible cracks. Bore is lightly frosted with good overall rifling. Mechanically fine. JWA
