Steyr Mannlicher M.95 straight pull bolt action rifle with bayonet. Made 1917 as proofed on the chamber. Chamber is also marked "S" for the updated spitzer cartridge. No import mark found. Matching serials on the barrel, receiver, bolt (body electro penciled) and stock. Other parts are mismatched. Most parts are "K" marked for Steyr. Blade front sight with rear ladder adjustable to 2,400 meters. Metal components look to have their original finish. Oil finished wood stock and hand guard with a smooth steel butt plate. Includes a non matching bayonet and scabbard. Bayonet is Austrian proofed. CONDITION: Metal retains 60% of its original finish with most areas forming a gray patina. Fair amount of cosmoline in the the action and on the bayonet. Wood has handling marks and scratches. Bore is clean overall with strong rifling. Mechanically fine. Bayonet is good overall with light wear and handling marks. Blade has not been sharpened. JWA
