Winchester Model 88 short stroke magazine fed lever action rifle built in rare .284 Winchester caliber in 1963. 1 of 2,925 with cut checkering stock. Blued Winchester Proof Steel barrel with hooded ramp sight and Lyman rear flip sight. Correct factory drilled blued receiver with correct "284" marked 5 shot detachable magazine. Walnut machine checkered 1 piece stock with correct bow type sling swivels and plastic checkered buttplate with steel grip cap. CONDITION: 90% original blue with some light handling marks. 90% original varnish with some small usage marks and dings. Good bore and mechanics. A rare rifle with good condition. DLM
