Classic configuration with smooth black front sight, adjustable square notch rear sight. Left side of slide with Service Model ace legends, right side with ACE in lozenge. Appropriate serrated small parts. Colt fully checkered walnut grips with golden medallions. Colt floating chamber barrel designed to increase the recoil. Accompanied by correct Colt wood grain box with matching serial number on end label. CONDITION: Excellent, showing only some extremely minor marks at reciprocating areas form very light use, most noticeable on trigger and hammer. Retains virtually all of the factory blue finish. Action works appropriately when carefully cycled by hand, bore is excellent with strong rifling. Box is very good with some age distress to edges. A top tier example. EW
