First Year Production Ruger Model Old Army single action percussion revolver. Made 1972. Standard single line address on the top of the barrel. "RUGER OLD ARMY" marked on the left side of the frame. Round steel barrel with blade front sight and adjustable u-notch rear. Factory blued finish on the barrel, frame and cylinder. Brass trigger guard, front, and rear grip straps. Oil finished wood grips with Ruger phoenix medallions. Includes original red/black flat board box. CONDITION: Metal retains 98% of its original finish with a few handling marks and scratches. Grips have a few dings and scratches. Bore is shiny with crisp rifling. Tight hammer and cylinder. Mechanically fine. Nipples show little signs of use. Box has wear marks and scratches. JWA
