Model PP manufactured by Walther towards the end of World War II. These Model PP pistols were hastily assembled from existing parts and components with unskilled labor at the Walther arsenal in an attempt to meet the armament requirements of the German military. The left side of the slide is bear with the exception of an eagle over "WaA359" waffenamt, which is also present on the left side of the frame. The right side of the slide bears the serial number above Walther's manufacturer code "ac". Eagle over "N" nitro proofs are present on the left side of the slide, chamber, and muzzle. Matching numbers are present on the slide and frame. Complete with an unmarked leather holster. CONDITION: Metal components retain fair amounts of their original factory blue finish overall, retaining trace amounts of original finish on the slide and fair amounts on the frame. Bore is bright, exhibiting good rifling throughout. 2-piece checkered black plastic grips show some smoothing and scattered handling marks. Holster no longer retains its magazine pouch and shows crazing all around. A rare example of a late war Walther PP pistol. MLW
