Nice example of a World War II Luftwaffe boot knife with scabbard. The blade is marked with a LZ5 waffenampt on the ricasso. CONDITION: The blade exhibits light freckling and scratches with evidence of sharpening. The wooden grips exhibit wear and the left grip shows signs of a repair. All of the retaining pins are intact and the grips remain tightly secured to the handle. The scabbard exhibits various blemishes, but is in very good condition and retains most of the of the black paint. Overall good. JLD
