Late production second model made in the early 1860s. 6" octagonal .31 caliber 5-groove rifled barrel with obscured barrel address, brass blade front sight, frame notch rear, and Colt style loading lever. 5-shot percussion cylinder. Brass trigger guards and smooth walnut 2-piece grips. CONDITION: Good. Cleaned to a silvery gray patina with some pitting. Trigger guard starting to develop a mellowing patina. Grips have some minor impressions, finish loss, a small loss a the left heel, and a larger bruise on left panel. Good shootable bore. Good mechanics. Matching serial numbers observed on barrel, loading lever, and inside of grips. BAS
