Winchester deluxe Highwall "Helm Pattern" Schuetzen Model by Winchester Repeating Arms Company in 1908. Blued 30" No. 3 weight octagon Winchester barrel, caliber .22 Short, filler in rear sight seat, and a Lyman globe front sight. Winchester markings and caliber stamping are on the left side barrel flat, barrel is drilled and tapped for telescope bases with filler screws. Blued proof marked flat spring pistol grip action with Schuetzen double set triggers, Winchester mid-range Vernier tang sight, and case hardened spur lever. Right upper side of the action is fitted with a custom barrel takedown retaining screw. Deluxe walnut checkered pistol grip stock with Dutch cheekpiece, fitted with a Winchester Helm buttplate. Matching deluxe checkered forearm with palm rest base (palm rest missing). Cody Research lists rifle as caliber "32-40". CONDITION: 90% barrel blue with edge wear. 90% action blue with edges starting to turn plum. 90% varnish with light handling marks and dings. Lever has case in protected areas.
