Lot consists of (A) Hand forged 3 - 1/2" iron halibut fishing hook with 23" remaining of the original woven fiber line. (B) 2 hand carved wood fishing implements (6 - 1/2" & 5") and carved stone weight used for dip net fishing salmon fishing on the Columbia River. Consignor notes indicate these were found in 1958 near Yakima, Washington near Lower Rock Creek. (B) 20 ivory and bone harpoon barbs for fishing. (C) 10 various scrapers and spear points also found in Washington. (D) Shoto clay figurine head. Consignor notes indicate this was found in a storage pit at an old chinook plank house site on Suavie Island in the Columbia River. Measures: 2" x 1 - 1/2" CONDITION: Items show appropriate patina with no obviously later breaks or damage. All items in solid, displayable condition. CONDITION: Very good. BRM.
