Lot contains: (A) Third Reich NCO fire police dress tunic in a dark blue wool with very light wear and no visible damage. Two upper pleated and scalloped upper pockets with two scalloped lower pockets. Tunic is fully lined in a black rayon fabric with a tag which identifies the maker "Hermann Schellhorn, FEUERWEHRAUSRUSTUNGEN, OFFENBACH A/M". Collar, with two closure hooks, is piped in purple wool and two Litzen are mounted on a black base and are machine sewn on. Sewn-in NCO boards exhibit light moth damage to their undersides. A fire police eagle is machine sewn to the left sleeve, and identifies the town of "Dornheim". Eight front buttons, four pockets buttons, two shoulder board buttons, and two rear belt supporting buttons are present. CONDITION: Overall excellent. (B) Matching fire police visor with a dark blue wool body and presenting light wear. Black cap band has light damage around the cockade, and chinstrap has light wear. Visor is excellent, leather sweatband is intact and exhibits moderate wear. Sweat shield is missing, and liner exhibits moderate staining. National colors and aluminum cockade are present, undamaged, and appear to be original to the cap. CONDITION: Overall very good. (C) Nickel plated fire police buckle has only light wear. CONDITION: Overall excellent. (D) Black leather belt is standard Wehrmacht issue. Maker mark and size "98" stamp are present. CONDITION: Overall very good. WEZ
