Iron frame and barrel with serial number on butt and on underside of barrel. Blade front sight with notch rear in hammer. Sparse engraving on frame. Marked ".41 CAL" under barrel button on right side. Checkered walnut grips. Address on top of barrel reads "COLTS PT MFG CO / HARTFORD CT U.S.A." with "No 2" designation. CONDITION: Very good to excellent. Iron looks to have been carefully cleaned in the European fashion with some areas of old oxidation that do not detract. Walnut grips are very good with good checkering. Mechanically fine, bore has visible rifling and some pitting towards muzzle. This is a good example. EMW
