Albumen cabinet studio photo of group sitting of ID'd Piegan chiefs. Reverse has pencil inscriptions that correspond to the positions of the Indians in the image. From left to right: Bear Chief, Little Plume, White Calf, Brocky, Four Horns, Shorty, Running Crane, Little Dog. Photo was taken by John Nichols Choate, Carlisle, PA (b.1846 -d.1945) and copyrighted 1892. Featured in the book "The Reservation Blackfeet 1882-1945" by Wallace E. Farr on pg. 37. Photo exhibits excellent detail and clarity. BRM.
