Beautiful L.C. Smith Field Grade .410 caliber side by side shotgun made by the L.C. Smith Gun Company, Fulton, New York in 1950. Blued Armor Steel barrels with high matted rib sight plane with twin bead sights and extractors. Gun marked on right barrel "L.C. SMITH 410 GA FIELD FULTON, NY. U.S.A.". 1 of 2,509 produced in .410, 1 of 1,076 with 28" barrels, and 1 of 13 produced with a beavertail forearm. Gun has casehardened featherweight sidelock frame with double triggers and automatic safety. Walnut checkered pistol grip stock with hard rubber buttplate and grip cap. Walnut checkered beavertail forearm with roller latch release. CONDITION: 95% blue with light case wear at muzzle and three spots on right barrel from somebody touching it with acidic or salty fingertips. 98% vivid case colors with perfect screws. Slight wear on handling areas. 98% original varnish with storage marks and dings. Perfect bores and excellent mechanics. Gun appears to be unfired or close to it. A great Smith! DLM
