Super Winchester Model 42 slide action Field Grade shotgun made by Winchester Repeating Arms in 1954. Blued Winchester Proof Steel 28" barrel with bead front sight and barrel marked with Winchester address and "MODEL 42- 410-3 IN CHAM" and choke marking of "FULL". Blued takedown hammerless receiver with push-button safety. Walnut plain pistol grip stock with black Winchester logo buttplate with walnut flat bottom corrugated slide handle. CONDITION: 95% plus blue on all metal parts with slight operating drag line and two small marks in front of magazine tube. 90% varnish with added coat of linseed oil with some small scratches. Excellent bore and mechanics. A super nice 42. DLM
