Extremely high condition and rare L.C Smith Ideal Grade .410 caliber side by side shotgun made by Hunter Arms Company, Fulton, New York in 1931. London Steel barrels with matted high rib sight plane and bead front sight and ejectors. This is one of 232 Ideal Grade shotguns made in .410, one of 140 with ejectors, and one of 110 with 26" barrels. Gun has casehardened featherweight frame with floral Ideal Grade engraving, double triggers, and automatic safety. Walnut checkered pistol grip stock with hard rubber buttplate and grip cap. Walnut checkered splinter forearm with roller latch release and ebony inlay. Comes in unmarked 2-piece box that looks to be original. CONDITION: 95% blue with grease still appearing on metal. 95% plus case colors with screws that look to be unturned. 98% trigger guard blue. 95% original stock finish with some handling marks. Excellent bore and mechanics. Gun appears to have been used but definitely has been used very little if at all. A super find! DLM
