Extremely fine L.C. Smith .410 caliber Field Grade side by side double made by Hunter Arms Company, Fulton, New York in 1932. Blued Armor Steel barrels with matted raised sight plane, bead front sight. Ejectors with "Hunter Arms" and "Field Grade" markings on top of barrel breeches. One of 2,509 Field Grades made in .410, one of 521 with ejectors, and one of 1,429 with 26" barrels. Casehardened sidelock featherweight frame with double triggers and automatic safety. Walnut checkered pistol grip stock with hard rubber buttplate and grip cap. Walnut checkered splinter forearm with roller latch release. CONDITION: 95% barrel blue with case wear with 95% fading case colors with perfect screws. Bores still exhibit original engine turn. Wood has 95% finish with a light coat of linseed applied with some minor scratches from storage and light use. Excellent bores and mechanics. DLM
