1913 Vintage Colt Single Action Army revolver, serial number 327329. Nickel with 4 - 3/4 barrel, correct 2-line address, chambered in .45 LC. Factory 2-piece Mother of Pearl grips with nickel deep dish Colt medallions. 2-line patent dates on left side of the frame with Rampant Colt motif in circle. Fire blue screws and cylinder arbor. Factory engraved with scrollwork and dot backgrounds in approximate grade 'B' coverage. Accompanying the revolver is a Colt Archival letter dated April 10, 1996, signed by Kathleen J. Hoyt, Historian. Letter documents configuration, factory engraving, and pearl grips. Sold to Valley Junction Hardware Company, and shipped to Shapleigh Hardware Company, St. Louis Missouri on June 27, 1913 in a single gun shipment. CONDITION: Excellent with 95% plus bright original nickel. Modest drag line on the cylinder. Minor flaking and scattered freckling on the backstrap. Bore is bright and clean. Cylinder chambers are bright. Action is tight and crisp. Grips are excellent showing minimum wear. MKS
