German Style Drilling made by Greifelt and Company in Suhl, Germany circa 1930 and sold by Walter Lemm in Oldenburg, Germany. Blued Krupp LaufStahl steel barrels with matted rib, blade front sight, and manual rear flip-up rifle sight. Rib is marked "W. Lemm Oldenburg" and has scope mounting rail and extractors. Coin finish sidelock hammerless action with sideclips and game scene and floral coverage engraving with cocking indicators and Greener style safety and crossbolt. Blued engraved steel trigger guard. Action marked "GREIFELT & CO SUHL" on bottom of action between barrel and Greifelt Griffon on rear lug. Gun has double triggers with front being a set trigger and tang selector marked "S" for Schrot and "K" for Kugel otherwise shot or ball. Walnut pistol grip stock with cheekpiece, horn grip cap, and "Greif" marked hard rubber buttplate. Walnut checkered splinter forearm with Deeley latch release. CONDITION: 95% original blue with action having sharp engraving and pleasing grey coin finish metal finish. Wood has added coat of linseed oil with some handling marks and dings. Good bores and mechanics. DLM
