German offset double rifle drilling in 9.3x72R caliber with 16 gauge shotgun barrel made Pre-World War II in Germany unmarked except for "(Anchor)" mark on frame, which is the mark of Krieghoff. Blued Nitro proofed barrels in rare offset double rifle position with matted rib with blade front sight and fixed notch rear sight with fold-down leaf. Barrels have extractors, claw scope mounts with "GERARD" marked scope with post reticle. Scalloped boxlock hammerless action with full vignette and scroll engraving, cocking indicators, side clips, double triggers with front being a set trigger. Gun has Greener style safety and top tang rifle/shotgun selector marked "S" for Schrot and "K" for Kugel or shot and ball. Gun has floral engraved steel trigger guard. European walnut checkered pistol grip stock with horn grip cap, cheekpiece, horn buttplate, and sling swivels. Walnut checkered splinter forearm with Deeley release. CONDITION: 95% original barrel blue with action having sharp engraving and nice original silver appearance. Wood has been cleaned with light handling marks. Good bore and mechanics with usable optics. A super-rare configuration. DLM
