Rare German double rifle with single shotgun barrel on top drilling made by H. Donnerberg, Nordhausen, Germany prior to World War II. Blued Krupp Laufstahl barrels with raised matted rib, bead blade front sight, fixed rear notch sight with flip-up leaf with rib marked "H. DONNERBERG NORDHAUSEN", and fitted with locking lever mounts with Carl Zeiss Jena "Zielvier" duplex reticle scope. Dural boxlock hammerless full game scene engraved scalloped frame with Kersten style dual locking lugs, cocking indicators, double triggers with front being a set trigger, horn trigger guard, grip cap, and buttplate. Greener style safety with tang selector marked "K" for Kugel and "S" for Schrot (or Ball and Shot). European walnut checkered pistol grip stock with cheekpiece and sling swivels. Walnut splinter forearm with Deeley latch release. A great and rare combination. CONDITION: 95% barrel blue with dural frame possibly cleaned with sharp engraving. Wood has 95% of original hand-rubbed finish with some small dings and marks. Excellent bore and mechanics with scope needing a professional cleaning. A super nice gun. DLM
