Scarce Winchester Model 1873 1 of 1000 lever action rifle, with consecutive serial number to lot No. 1332, manufactured in Japan by Miroku and imported by Browning Arms Company for Winchester with matching factory box and CDNN (original retailer) inspection sheet. 24" octagon barrel chambered in .357 Magnum with full length magazine tube, rifle rear sight, and blade front. Receiver is engraved with scroll on a punch dot background. Left side depicting a bull moose in a meadow in his own vignette. Right side depicting elk in the scroll with 2 panels forward of loading gate with more scroll on background with blank ribbons and accenting geometrics across top. Barrel flats engraved with scroll on a punch dot background approximately 1 - 1/2" from breech with "ONE OF ONE THOUSAND" and a 1 - 1/2" set of engraving near muzzle on same flats. Two piece checkered well-figured walnut stock and forearm complete with rifle forearm cap and rifle buttplate. CONDITION: Appears new and unfired in original box, possibly only test fired. Retaining all of the original factory finishes. Stock and forearm are mint showing little to no wear. Bore is bright and clean. Box is excellent and complete.
