Circa 1957. A nice game gun with 30" blued steel barrels with narrow matte rib with ejectors, white mid sight, and red and white front bead sight. Barrels are built with 2 - 3/4" chambers and stamped "*" and "**" (Full and Modified) for their choke designation. Top barrel marked with patents numbers and "MADE IN BELGIUM" on right and on left "BROWNING ARMS COMPANY _ST LOUIS, MISSOURI", "SPECIAL STEEL-12GA-SHELLS 2 3/4". Barrel also stamped with serial number "58994" at bottom. The coin finished boxlock action is embellished with scrolls, flying pigeons, and floral bouquets at bottom. Engraved by "FUNKEN" which is signed at bottom rear of receiver. The once gold washed single inertia trigger is accompanied by a non-auto safe barrel selector slide and with an engraved top lever with checkered thumb piece. Trigger is protected by an engraved guard that extend to a three quarter length bottom strap. The honey colored stock with straight grain is built with a round knob grip, fine checkered panels, and finished with a ventilated rubber pad. Sporting one piece forend with matched checkering. Gun resides in a traditional Browning styled luggage case. Non- Salt gun. CONDITION: Very good. Barrels retain 98% original color. Action is sound, ejectors are in time, and trigger is good. Stock and forend are good with handling marks. Case is good. CP/DLM
