PPK semi-automatic pistol chambered in .22 LR manufactured by Walther in West Germany in 1965. Left side of slide bears the Walther banner logo followed by stampings stipulating the manufacturer information as well as the model and caliber designations. Left side of frame is stamped "Made in West-Germany". Chamber bears an eagle/N commercial nitro proof, followed by Walther's "65" date stamp, as well as an Ulm proof house stamp. Eagle/N commercial nitro proof is also present on the right side of the frame, as well as the left side of the slide. Frame is mounted with 2-piece Walther Banner checkered brown plastic grips. Pistol is accompanied by an original nonmatching leatherette factory box. Left panel of box lid is hand scribed "FAYE $2000" in felt marker. CONDITION: Metal components retain bountiful amounts of their original factory applied blue finish, exhibiting a few minor handling marks and some light wear from disassembly. Mirror bore, exhibiting well defined rifling throughout. Bolt face is excellent. Grips show some minor smoothing to a few of the diamonds, but are otherwise fine. Box shows edge wear overall, with a previously taped repair to the right side of the lid. A very attractive example of a 1960s West German manufactured Walther PPK semi-automatic pistol. MLW
