Shoulder head (wear on hair, soil, crazing, nose tip gone, plate broken in back) with desirable hairdo featuring black molded hair with clusters of curls on each side, the back pulled up into three large braids, brush marks around face, painted eyes. Interesting antique pieced together leather body with wood lower arms looks homemade, and is signed “Andrew Varney Evans, Erie County.” Very nicely and appropriately dressed.
