Ithaca M1911A1 semi-automatic pistol. Made 1944. "UNITED STATES PROPERTY" marked above the serial number and "M1911A1 U.S. ARMY" marked on the right side of the frame. Crossed cannons arsenal stamp behind the right grip panel. "F.J.A." inspectors stamp on the left side of the frame. Left side of the slide is marked "ITHACA GUN CO.,INC/ITHACA. N.Y.". "P" proofs on the left side of the frame, left barrel lug, and on top of the slide. Blade front sight and U-notch rear. Original parkerized finish and brown checkered Keyes fiber grips. Includes an unmarked parkerized magazine. CONDTION: Metal retains 95% of its original finish with some light wear and handling marks. Grips are excellent. Bore is shiny with crisp rifling. Mechanically fine. Magazine is excellent. JWA
