Medalist semi-automatic pistol manufactured by Browning in 1963. Left side of barrel is stamped "BROWNING ARMS COMPANY" with the right side being marked "MADE IN BELGIUM .22 L.R.". Belgian proofs are present on the bottom of the barrel, front of slide, as well as on the butt. Features include a 6 - 3/4" heavy barrel, vent rib, target adjustable rear sight, blade front sight, as well as 1-piece checkered walnut thumb rest grips. Pistol is accompanied by an original leatherette case featuring a red velvet interior and containing its factory cartridge block, target weights, and screwdriver. CONDITION: Metal components retain virtually all of their original factory applied blue finish, exhibiting a coat of grease overall. Mirror bore, exhibiting strong rifling throughout. Grip shows some light wear to the varnish, but is otherwise fine. Case shows some light superficial marks from handling and storage, but is otherwise sturdy and serviceable. MLW
