Winchester Model 1894 lever action carbine. Made 1949. Standard markings on the barrel. Winchester proofs on the frame and chamber. Round steel barrel with ramped blade front sight and buckhorn rear. Factory blued finish on the metal components. Wood stock and forearm with original oil finish. Checkered metal butt plate. CONDITION: Metal retains 90% of its original blued finish with handling marks and scratches. Wood has a few scratches and dents. Forearm is solid with no visible cracks. Bore is strong with crisp rifling. Mechanically fine. JWA
