Marlin Model 336 lever action rifle. Made 1949. Standard markings on the left side of the barrel. "JM" stamped on the right of the chamber. Serial number on the bottom tang. Round steel barrel with ramped blade front sight and buckhorn u-notch rear leaf. Factory blued finish on the metal components. Checkered wood stock and forearm with a light oil finish. Factory checkered plastic butt plate. Includes attached sling swivels. CONDITION: Metal retains 90% of its original finish with light edge wear. Wood has a few minor handling marks and scratches. Bore is clean with strong rifling. Mechanically fine. JWA
