Custom Springfield Model 1903 bolt action rifle. Made 1926. "RA", Remington marked barrel with an illegible date. Replacement blade front sight with a Lyman rear peep sight. Peep sight is missing its aperture. Re-blued finish on the metal components. Custom wood stock with epoxy coating. Plastic capped pistol grip and checkered butt stock. Sling swivels present on the butt. CONDITION: Metal retains 80% of its finish with general wear and handling marks. There is some light surface rust on the barrel. The stock has some cracks in the finish on the right side, and on both sides of the butt. Bore is clean with sharp 4 groove rifling. Mechanically fine. JWA
