Rare Smith & Wesson Number 3 "Russian Model" stock with factory box. These stocks are quickly distinguished from the American model stock by the extra protrusion at the top for Number 3 Russian Model Smith & Wesson revolvers cut for a stock. Nickel plated finish on attachment assembly with plain walnut stock and Smith and Wesson checkered gutta percha buttplate with nickel plated screws. Complete in green Smith & Wesson factory box for this model of stock. CONDITION: Excellent plus and near mint, with extremely light handling marks in wood and minor pitting on left side of attachment assembly. Box is heavily worn with delamination occurring at lid and wear at high edges. Label is about 50% present. TON
