Circa 1963. An early Italian made 12 gauge with demi-bloc 27 - 1/2" blacked steel barrels. Barrels are fit with ejectors, 2 - 3/4" chambers, low profiled, machine filed, narrow, ventilated top rib with brass round front bead sight. Chokes are Full & Full. Top barrel engraved with flower bouquets on left and right sides. The shiny coin finished boxlock action is built with a single checkered mechanical trigger and is non-auto safe. Action is built with a Kersten style cross bolt locking mechanism. Action engraved with scrolls and rose bouquets. Blacked trigger guard engraved with scrolls. Dark brown European walnut stock measures 13 - 3/4" to center and is built with slender 2 panel checkered pistol grip. Buttstock is finished by a checkered hard plastic plate. Plate reads "STEFANO MAROCCHI E FIGLI", "GARDONE VT" and with logo. Matched splinter game forend with 2 tone Deeley styled latch release. CONDITION: Very good. Barrels retain mostly all of their original blue. Bores are bright. Action is tight. Ejectors and trigger are sound. Stock very good with handling marks. Forend also very good with light handling marks. Good working gun. CP
