A virtually new, limited and nice DHE combination 16 / 20 gauge set. (A) 16 guage blacked steel 28" barrels were made by Krieghoff in 1993 with ejectors, machined concave wide tapered rib with doll's head extension and round brass front bead sight. Left barrel reads "Parker Reproduction 16 GAUGE 2 3/4" 70mm". Right barrel reads "Made in Germany". Barrel flats read "KRIEGHOFF ULM, QII, 16-01866, QI, 087, with proofs. Barrel bottoms read "16,9mm" with proof stamps. Lumps stamped with "0". The (B) 20 guage blacked 26" barrels are built with ejectors, wide but tapering machined concave rib with brass round front bead sight and doll's head extension. Left barrel reads "Parker Reproduction by WINCHESTER - 20 GAUGE. 2 3/4"., "EAST ALTON IL. U.S.A.". Barrel flats read "MOD 20-01432, OVERLOAD PARKER REPRODUCTION PROVED", "IMP CYL, OVERLOAD PARKER REPRODUCTION PROVED". Right side of right barrel stamped "MADE IN JAPAN". Lumps stamped "1,2,0". Chokes on (A) are Improved Cylinder and Skeet. Chokes on (B) are Modified and Improved Cylinder. The nicely polished Game scene engraved boxlock action with scrolls is case colored and is engraved "PARKER" on the action's bottom. Left and right walls are engraved with pointing dogs in fields and bottom action is engraved with 1 Pheasant standing and 2 flushing over field - all surrounded by supporting scrolls. Case colored engraved and checkered top lever is ahead of the checkered thumb safe slide. "SAFE" is stamped in between safe slide and top lever on the gun's case colored top tang. Gun is auto-safe and built with a muted gold-colored selective single bladed inertia trigger. Barrel selector is left of trigger. The best quality medium brown walnut stock with 2 checkered panels is built with a 2-panel fine checkered semi-pistol grip with hard rubber "PARKER REPRODUCTION" grip cap, vacant brass colored oval and checkered butt is protected by steel case colored heel and toe plates. Blacked scroll engraved trigger guard extends to a 3/4 length bottom strap that is engraved with scrolls and the gun serial number "20-1432". The nicely matched checkered splinter forend is built with a Deeley-styled latch release. Release and forend metal all with scroll engraving. Interior iron metal is case colored and also stamped with the gun serial number. Gun is housed in leather parker Reproduction case with snaps caps, Galco handguard, and its canvas and leather outer cover. CONDITION: Excellent. Both sets of barrels retain mainly all of their original black. Bores are also shiny. Action and ejectors operate properly. Trigger is crisp to pull. Case is also excellent. Very nice set. CP
