Stevens "IDEAL" 44- 1/2 action single shot rifle made by the J. Stevens Arms and Tool Company, Chicopee Falls, Massachusetts from 1903 to 1916. 26" blued half octagon No. 2 weight barrel with blade front sight and adjustable rear sight in desirable "22-15 S.S." Case hardened 44 -1/2 action with standard single trigger lever. Walnut plain straight stock with standard steel crescent butt. Plain walnut standard forearm. Comes with hard to find "IDEAL" loading tool. CONDITION: Rifle is in overall 90% plus original condition with excellent bore and mechanics. Possibly fired very little. Tool is in excellent working order and condition. DLM
