Circa 1972. Made in Belgium by FN a semi-automatic rifle fit with a 22" round blued steel barrel chambered for the .22 Short cartridge. Barrel is built with an adjustable folding leaf rear sight, dovetail gold tip bead front sight, and is drilled and tapped with filler screws. Right side of the barrel is marked "CALIBER .22 SHORT BROWNING PATENTS" while the left side is marked "BROWNING ARMS COMPANY MORGAN, UTAH & MONTREAL P.Q. MADE IN BELGIUM". Blued receiver with cross-bolt safety and single smooth blued trigger is adorned with light scrolls and border engraving on both left and right sides. Trigger guard bow also has light scrolls. Right side of the receiver also has the gun's serial number "72E29344" behind the barrel. Straight grain high gloss walnut pistol grip stock has 2 checkered panels and a blued steel serrated buttplate. Beavertail forearm similarly finished with matching checkering. CONDITION: Excellent. Barrels retain approximately 99% original blue. Bores are bright at shiny. Receiver retains approximately 99% original blue. Stock and forearm with minor use/storage marks. Original factory box in good condition. (CP)
