Russian Izhevsk M91/30 PU bolt action sniper rifle with shipping box. Made 1943 at the Izhevsk arsenal as marked on the chamber. Typical Russian proofs on the barrel shank. Import mark on the bottom the barrel. There is also an import mark on the receiver, and a refurb serial number on the chamber. Matching serials on the barrel shank, bolt, butt plate, and trigger guard (forced matched). Hooded post front sight with rear tangent adjustable to 2,000 meters. Arsenal refurbished blued finish on the metal components. Stock has an arsenal applied lacquered varnish. Includes original Soviet mount, base and scope. Mount is electropencil matched to the rifle. Scope is dated 1943 and has a rebuild stamp on the left side. 3 post reticle. Barrel shank serial and scope serial are matching. Original leather scope caps, green canvas dog collar sling and the importer shipping box are also included. CONDITION: Metal retains 80% of its arsenal reapplied finish with light wear and handling marks. Some areas are turning a plum color. Stock has a few dents, scratches, and scrapes. Bore is heavily frosted with good overall rifling. Mechanically fine. Scope is very good with general wear to its black enamel finish. Optic is crisp. Sling and scope caps are excellent. JWA
