Standard configuration Medalist semi-automatic pistol manufactured by Browning in 1971. Left side of barrel bears markings stipulating Browning's importer information, with the right side being marked ".22 L.R. BROWNING PATENTS / MADE IN BELGIUM". Bottom of barrel is stamped "BROWNING'S PATENT" followed by a Belgian proof. Features include a blue finish, 6 - 3/4" heavy barrel, vent rib, target adjustable rear sight, blade front sight, as well as a checkered walnut thumb rest grip. Pistol is accompanied by an original factory case featuring a red velvet interior and contains its factory cartridge block, target weights, screwdriver, and manual. Case lid's nameplate is unmarked. CONDITION: Excellent, with metal components retaining virtually all of their original factory blue finish. Metal components also retain a coat of non-factory grease overall. Mirror bore, exhibiting well defined rifling throughout. Checkered walnut thumb rest grip is excellent, exhibiting few small marks from handling and storage. Case is excellent, showing a few spots of minor wear on the exterior, but is otherwise fine. A nice example of a high condition Browning Medalist semi-automatic pistol. MLW
